The Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership (MCCIP) is expanding its remit to cover the actions we take in our daily lives to address changes from climate change - adaptation - through a new approach called MCCIP 'Marine Climate Smart Working', which was officially launched on 16th July 2010.
Since the launch we have untertaken a consultation exercise, which was used to inform our first marine climate smart workshop in York on 28th September 2010.
The consultation and workshop outputs have been used to help us consider what a 'smart' approach to climate change adaptation should include and what forms of advice are most likely to be of practical benefit to organisations looking to build adaptive capacity.
