MCCIP, the British Marine Federation (BMF) and the Environment Agency's "Climate Ready" support service, have worked collaboratively to produce a "Climate change and the UK marine leisure industry" Report Card.
Developed in consultation with single and multi-site operators of boatyards, marinas and support service providers, this card acts as a step-by-step guide to the risks and opportunities presented by climate change impacts, and potential adaptation responses.
The Report Card includes:
- A summary of key climate change impacts of relevance to the UK marine leisure industry;
- Information on threats and opportunities for the sector;
- Recommendations for collective and individual actions; plus,
- A two-page interactive workspace to identify and record your own issues and adaptation responses.
